What happened to imagination? To believing in what we could be? What happened to the fascination, In every little thing we could see?
What happened to a sense of wonder? And when did we stop asking why? Did we bury our curiosity under, Hurt, pain, fear and lies?
Since when did growing up, Mean seeing with jaded eyes, When did the imaginary, Become nothing more than lies, When did we lose, What made our hearts sing? I believe we all can still fly, If we only remember our wings.
What happened to fairy tale endings? When did true love lose it's shine? What happened to stories and pretending? Why did we settle for only doing fine?
What happened to never growing older? Like Peter Pan remaining forever young? Now we're hunched with the world on our shoulders, When life has only just begun.
Since when did growing up, Mean seeing with jaded eyes, When did the imaginary, Become nothing more than lies, When did we lose, What made our hearts sing? I believe we all can still fly, If we only remember our wings.
Flying is truly simple, Just jump and never touch down, Soar on wings, You've forgotten about til now.
Since when did growing up, Mean seeing with jaded eyes, When did the imaginary, Become nothing more than lies, When did we lose, What made our hearts sing? I believe we all can still fly, If we only remember our wings.
